Brothers John Wiebe and Jake Wiebe, together with their father Peter Wiebe, started Timberstar Manufacturing Ltd in 1986. The Wiebe brothers are the 3rd generation of innovators in machinery.
John and Jake had their first exposure to metal working in their grandpa's blacksmith shop. At ages 5 and 6, the two boys discovered how to make sparks with Grandpa's screwdrivers on his grinder. After a cooling off period, Grandpa eventually let them back into his workshop - under heavy supervision.
John and Jake’s curiosity and hands-on approach served them well in creating lumber, panel, and custom printing machinery. They provided custom machine solutions for clients in the lumber industry, which built their international client base.
The specialty tools make clients’ work easier and safer. Snypers were designed in direct response to Peter Wiebe losing parts of his fingers when grabbing wood snyps caught in the machine (which used to be a common sawmill injury).
John Wiebe, and his team, now operates as Timberstar Machine (2024) Inc. From designing, engineering, and manufacturing high speed printers in large scale lumber mills, to specialty one-of-a-kind printers for niche projects, there is no lumber marking project too big or small to tackle. With 40 years experience, we are confident that you will appreciate the quality and design of Timberstar Machine Inc’s line of products and services.
